Director
John Traicos is a lawyer with more than 30 years’ experience in legal and corporate affairs in Australia and Southern Africa. He has acted as a commercial/legal manager to several Australian resource companies and has been involved in resource projects and acquisitions in Australia, Africa and Indonesia. John is admitted to practice law in Western Australia and is currently Commercial Manager at Kalium Lakes Limited. From 2013 to 2019 John held the position of Legal Manager and Company Secretary for Perilya Limited from 2000 to 2005, and Tanami Gold NL from 2005 to 2007, Commercial Legal Manager for Strike Energy Limited from 2007 to 2011 and General Manager for Oro Verde Limited (formerly Ezenet Limited) from 2011 to 2012.
He was appointed a Director of Bassari Resources Limited on 7 May 2021.
Executive Director
Andrew has forty plus years’ experience in the development, operations and management of open-cut and underground mining. He has held several directorships for mining companies. Andrew holds a degree in Applied Science (Mining Engineering) from the Western Australia School of Mines and began his career as a mining engineer with MIM Holdings at Mt Isa Mines. He has worked extensively with stakeholder engagement. Andrew has worked in Australia, Ethiopia, Papua-New Guinea, Ghana, Guyana, England, Botswana, Canada, Kazakhstan, Peru, Madagascar, Senegal, United States, Zambia, and Antarctica. Before mining, Andrew worked in farming, forestry and meteorology.
Andrew was appointed a Director of Bassari Resources Limited on 4 June 2021.
